What's Wrong With This Photo?

This photo was taken during a democrat fundraiser last month in Iowa. The slimy scumbag on the far left is Barack Hussein Obama. He wants to be President of the United States, yet he doesn't even have the common decency nor the respect for America to render proper honors to the American Flag during the National Anthem!

Does he want to be President out of love for country? Or is it his desire for power that drives him? In my opinion, folding one's hands at his crotch during The Star Spangled Banner is FAR from displaying due respect for the flag that represents all that this great nation stands for. I am a U.S. Navy veteran. I recognize as well as anyone the special meaning behind our flag and the respect it deserves. Hundreds of thousands of Americans, including the Founding Fathers, have died defending what our flag represents. And I must say, it disgusts me to see a standing U.S. Senator and Presidential candidate lacking the same recognition!

United States Code, Title 36, Ch. 10, Sec. 171 -- During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at ATTENTION facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder , the hand being over the heart.

The letter from 41 Senate democrats denouncing Rush Limbaugh for his "phony soldier" comment has sold for a whopping $2.1 MILLION on e-bay! That's over 2 million dollars that will benefit the children of fallen Marines and Federal Law Enforcement officers.

Senator Harry Reid actually congratulated Rush Limbaugh for his efforts and seemed to act as if HE had some part in this major charitable contribution!! Truth is, Reid was forced to eat one massive plate of HUMBLE PIE! Reid's letter, co-signed by forty other Senate liberals backfired big time! Yet, rather than apologize and admit to having deliberately lied in an attempt to smear a private citizen, Reid has tried to jump on the bandwagon. Unbelievable! Frankly, Harry Reid and his fellow Senate democrats are as significant as a screen door on a submarine!

Rush was quick to point out on his radio show that Senator Reid still has yet to apologize for his actions and that Reid had absolutely NOTHING to do with raising 2 million dollars for the aforementioned charity. Furthermore, Limbaugh again issued his challenge to the forty-one democrats to match his donation dollar for dollar.

Love him or hate him, Rush Limbaugh certainly knows how to make waves and shake things up. And liberals hate him for it. During his Sep. 26 radio show, Rush was speaking with an on-air caller about the utter lack of support by the left for the Iraq War. Limbaugh made mention of how the left goes out of their way to dig up a handful of soldiers to speak out against the war, as if to say, "See... this soldier says Iraq is a disaster, so it must be true!" Even though all evidence points to the contrary. Limbaugh specifically mentioned one soldier in particular, referring to him as a "phony soldier." This "soldier", turned anti-war activist, is Jesse Macbeth. Macbeth falsely claimed to have witnessed and even participated in war crimes in Iraq and received the Purple Heart. In reality, Macbeth was discharged after just 44 days of service, having never even set foot in Iraq! Yet, this didn't stop him from becoming an anti-war puppet for the left-wing agenda. His lies and fraudulent VA benefits claims landed him five months in prison!

So Limbaugh was correct when he referred to this soldier as "phony." But this is not how the infamous "phony soldier" comment was played out in the liberal media. The big media along with 41 Senate Democrats spun the comment in such a way that made it appear that Limbaugh was anti-military and anti-soldier. How dare he refer to our troops as "phonies."

Harry Reid and his fellow liberals in the U.S. Senate turned away from the business of running the country to publicly smear a PRIVATE CITIZEN! Forty-one Senators, all Democrats, wrote a letter to Limbaugh's boss, blasting him for his comments and essentially demanding that he be fired. Imagine... elected politicians publicly smearing and attempting to crucify a private citizen for exercising his First Amendment right to free speech!

Well Limbaugh has ingeniously turned the tables on the forty-one. He placed the letter on public auction at http://www.ebay.com/. The current bid is a whopping $65,100. Limbaugh will be donating the proceeds from the auction to one of his favorite charities, The Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, which provides assistance to children of fallen U.S. Marines and Federal Law Enforcement Officers. Furthermore, Limbaugh has promised to match the winning bid from his own wallet.

Limbaugh has issued a challenge to Harry Reid and the 40 Senators who co-signed the letter to match the winning bid as a chance for them to demonstrate if they truly are as patriotic as they claim. We'll see if that happens. Here is a statement by Rush himself... "I would like to issue this challenge to Senator Reid and the 41 senators who signed his letter. You say you support the military. You say you're big, and you think it's patriotic, and that I was unpatriotic. Well, I would like for each of you, Senator Reid, and the 40 senators who signed, to match whatever the winning bid is. Show us your support for the U.S. military by all 41 of you pro-military people, Democrats in the Senate, match whatever the winning bid is and send that amount to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation."

This whole ordeal is not really about what Limbaugh said or what he feels. Truth is, Rush is extremely patriotic and supports America's Armed Forces like no one else! He is extremely popular among the troops, while Harry Reid and his fellow Democrats are nothing more than paper patriots. Consider this... Limbaugh's approval rating in the state of Nevada, Harry Reid's home state, is vastly higher than Harry Reid's approval rating! What this ordeal is really about is the left's hatred for Rush. He exercises his popularity and First Amendment rights to keep the left in check. When they lie and scam and undermine America's security, he is there to tell America the truth! It is truly a dangerous thing when powerful Senators attempt to publicly crucify a private citizen for blowing the whistle when they get out of line! The big media is in bed with the left, so without folks like Limbaugh, America would all too often be left in the dark.

Hillary Clinton's campaign spending proposals have already amounted to $756 BILLION in NEW government spending! Who would get to pay that massive dollar amount for Hillary's programs? You guessed it... the taxpayer! Let's have a breakdown...

- Hillary proposed an $8 billion a year college affordability program. Over a 4 year term that's $32 billion. (New York Sun)

OPERATION RED WING

NAVY SEAL TO BE AWARDED CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR

U.S. Navy SEAL, Lt. Michael P. Murphy will be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor during a White House ceremony Oct. 22nd. His family will be receiving the award in his honor.

Lt. Murphy was leading a four man SEAL team on a special reconnaissance mission deep behind enemy lines east of Asadabad in the Hindu Kush of Afghanistan June 27-28, 2005.

The operation, code named "Red Wing", tasked the SEAL element with locating a high-level Taliban militia leader to provide intelligence for a follow-on mission to capture or destroy the local leadership and disrupt enemy activity. Local Taliban sympathizers discovered the SEAL unit and immediately revealed their position to Taliban fighters. The SEALS later found themselves besieged on a mountaintop by scores of enemy fighters.

The SEALS fought the enemy fearlessly despite being at a tactical disadvantage and outnumbered, facing more than fifty enemy fighters. Lt. Murphy, understanding the gravity of the situation, and already wounded, moved from cover into the open where he took and returned fire while transmitting a call for help for his teammates. While being shot at, Murphy provided his units location and requested immediate support. He returned to cover and continued to engage the enemy until finally succumbing to his wounds. Murphy's action led to the rescue of one severely wounded SEAL and the recovery of the remains of his fallen teammates.

Lt. Murphy will be inducted into the Hall of Heroes at the Pentagon on Oct. 23. His name will be engraved beside the names of some 3,400 other service members who have also been awarded the nation's highest honor.

Hillary Hires Convicted Felon Sandy Berger

Republicans are blasting Hillary Clinton after learning today that she has hired Sandy Berger, a former top aide to President Bill Clinton, to be her campaign's foreign policy and national security advisor.

Sandy Berger was Bill Clinton's national security advisor from 1997 to 2001. In 2003, while preparing for upcoming 9/11 hearings, he stole classified documents from the National Archives, hiding them in his clothing and eventually destroying them. Said documents were suspected to show that the Clinton Administration had FAR more detailed knowledge of the threat posed by Al Qaeda and Usama Bin Laden than it admitted to. Caught in the act, and after initially denying all charges, Berger later admitted to the theft and was sentenced to probation. He is also prohibited from handling classified documents until late next year.

We've all heard that Bill Clinton had several opportunities to kill or capture UBL during his administration. When covert CIA officers had tracked down Bin Laden in the Sudan, they had the master terrorist in their cross-hairs. Required to ask Washington for permission to "pull the trigger", it was Sandy Berger who denied the request, allowing the world's most wanted man to go free!!

While many folks are shocked that Hillary would make such a foolish political mistake, I am not. The Clintons are both known for dealing with felons and criminals in their quest for power. This is just another example of that. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is now being advised on foreign policy matters by a CONVICTED FELON, who committed TREASON against the United States of America. It's almost unthinkable. While Berger should be turning big rocks into little rocks in a federal prison, he'll be working for one of the most powerful women in the country... a woman who wants to be president!!

Can Hillary be trusted to be president and Commander-in-Chief? Can she be trusted when she would hire a treasonous, convicted felon to participate in her campaign? Can she be trusted when one of her top aides is a man who clearly abused his power? The clear answer is a resounding "NO!"

Hillary Clinton -- Your Baby is Worth $5,000!

In yet another professional politician type scheme to pander for votes, mainly from the poor, Hillary Clinton has promised to give $5,000 to every baby born under her administration should she be elected president. The cost? Clinton doesn't know. Will children born to illegal immigrants in this country be covered? No word on that yet. Who will pay for this program? You guessed it... YOU AND I WILL!

Since Hillary's latest "promise" offers very little specifics, we'll just assume here that the $5,000 would be placed in some sort of interest-bearing account that would most certainly earn more money over time than Social Security. The interesting thing is that the very people who support this ridiculous idea are the same people who vigorously opposed President Bush's plan for partial privatization of Social Security. Under Bush's plan, a worker may VOLUNTARILY place a portion of his FICA taxes in private stocks or bonds, allowing an interest rate that exceeds the one offered by Social Security. Under the current plan, the money vanishes into the hands of the government upon the death of the worker. Bush's plan would allow the worker to bequeath the money to his/her children.

So aside from the blatant hypocrisy, why is this plan so ridiculous? Well for one reason, it would reward illegitimate child birth. This program would provide incentives for folks who cannot feed, clothe or educate their children to have more babies. Programs like WIC, public housing, food stamps and daycare vouchers already do this. The statement made is simple... breed irresponsibly and the government will compel taxpayers to step in. Enough of my taxpayer money already covers the poor, the lazy and the incompetent. Now Hillary proposes to use even MORE of my hard-earned cash to pay for the future of other people's children!

What about my future? Social Security, in its current form, will be long dead by the time I am eligible for retirement. This government program, which I have paid into since the age of 16, will likely provide me with ZERO return thanks to the corruption and abuse that liberals have not only allowed but promoted. My parents did one hell of a job raising me WITHOUT the assistance of the government. Apparently, Hillary feels that today's parents aren't up to the task. But never fear... she's here to help. God help us all!

Hillary should read the results of the Welfare Reform Act of 1996, signed into law by the first President Clinton (and God willing, the last). Welfare rolls plummeted by 50% without an increase in abortion. Able-bodied people, faced with time limits and denied increases in monies, got off the couch and got a job!
